Classification and Types of Shafts:

The classification of shafts is quite complex. By material, shafts are distinguished as made of black steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. Shafts are also divided into different classes. Among the main differences, the division by purpose is considered.
The main grades are Steel 20, Steel 45, and Steel 40X with subsequent heat treatment.
Applications of Shafts:
Custom-made shafts are manufactured strictly according to drawings. Lathe equipment is used for manufacturing. After manufacturing, the shaft undergoes mandatory grinding and polishing. If necessary, galvanizing (chroming) is applied to the product.
Regardless of the size and structural features, only high-quality materials are used for manufacturing. Most often, this is selected carbon or alloy steel that has been heat-treated.
